Edward X Young has returned to the silver screen.  He is acting in an independent horror feature filming in New Jersey in the summer of 2005.  The film, SEA OF DUST, is a resurrection of the "old-fashioned" horror movie in the style of the British company Hammer Films, the producers of DRACULA HAS RISEN FROM THE GRAVE, FRANKENSTEIN CREATED WOMEN, and many others that starred genre icons Christopher Lee and Peter Cushing in the 1960s.

SEA OF DUST stars legendary genre actors Tom Savini and Ingrid Pitt.

Mr. Savini is well-known for his work as a horror special effects makeup wizard; he designed effects for FRIDAY THE 13TH, TEXAS CHAINSAW MASSACRE II, and the original DAWN OF THE DEAD.  He directed the remake of NIGHT OF THE LIVING DEAD.  As an actor, he's best-known as "sex machine" in FROM DUSK TILL DAWN, and has appeared in CREEPSHOW I & II, both versions of DAWN OF THE DEAD, and the upcoming LAND OF THE DEAD.  Mr. Savini voiced himself in an episode of THE SIMPSONS titled "Worst Episode Ever."

Ms. Pitt began her career in such films as DR. ZHIVAGO and A FUNNY THING HAPPENED ON THE WAY TO THE FORUM.  She became notorious as the "Hammer Queen of Horror" for her starring roles in THE VAMPIRE LOVERS and as the title character in COUNTESS DRACULA. Her other films include WHERE EAGLES DARE (opposite Clint Eastwood and Richard Burton), THE HOUSE THAT DRIPPED BLOOD, THE FINAL OPTION, and the cult classic THE WICKER MAN.

The film also stars veteran actor Bill Timoney, who is best known for his enduring portrayal of Alfred Vanderpool on ALL MY CHILDREN.  Bill has also worked on the features, MISSION TO MARS, HANNIBAL, and AMERICAN PSYCHO.  Bill has also written the screenplay for the upcoming horror feature, HELLBOUND. Bill Timoney and Ed X Young are long-time collaborators, having first met on a production set as film students at Seton Hall University.

Written, produced and directed by Scott Bunt, SEA OF DUST is currently being filmed exclusively in the State of New Jersey.  More information may be found on the film's web site: http://www.seaofdust.com
